After 2 more sleeps, it will be the year of the monkey, 2016. As the year draws to a close, it is good to do some reflection on the year that have just passed. Year 2015 has been the most adventurous year I had as compared to the last 5 years. Many things happened this year. Just to share some of the major highlights that happened to me this year.
1. I started my own I.T business with an ex-colleague. I took a leap of faith to do it. Having been in the industry for so long, I felt that it was time to do it. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing your own business grow. It was not an easy road as we met with many obstacles but by the grace of GOD we managed to overcome everything that hit us. I am proud to say that we pulled through our first year in business. I am looking forward to more glorious years ahead.
2. My boy upgraded his status from infant to toddler. I have seen grow from a tiny little one to an active boy today. Right now, he is mimicking things that we speak and this is so fun. He is at the stage where it’s really enjoyable to play with. Probably in a few more years when he starts primary school, things might change. Somehow I wish time would just stop for a moment to let me savor the moment. I am thankful that my boy is growing well and is healthy. Health is true wealth! You can have millions in your bank account but if you are always sickly on the bed, how can you enjoy life.
3. I was down with hand foot mouth disease. Yes it was a terrible one week for me. Do check out my blog post here
4. I joined the Nuffnang family. It was an honor to be part of the family with all the awesome bloggers. I will continue to improve and write wholesome articles in the coming years.
I am grateful to GOD for all the things that have happened. Be it good or bad. I believe there is a season for everything. When life throws a curveball at you, what do you do? How you react will determine your future. Will you just fall and wallow in pity or will you get up again and continue walking forward?
“May the God of hope
fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in him
so that you may overflow with hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
As a believe of the gospel, this is one of the verses that carried me through the tough times. Tough times do not last but tough man do! As I move on to the year 2016, I am believing for greater things to come. Year 2016 is going to be an even better year than the past years. Better does not mean no challenges but it means at the very end of the year, the fruits will be even greater than anything that I can imagine it to be. T
This will be my last blog post of 2015. I just want to say a BIG thank you to all my supporters/readers of my blog. Your support have deeply encouraged me and I promise to write better articles in the coming year. Happy New Year to all out there! =)
