Animal Family by Learning Age is an attractive and colourful jigsaw puzzle aimed at simulating the brain and training a kid’s fine motor skills.
Thanks to the kind folks at Rightbrainbabies, we got to enjoy playing this puzzle. The first thing that attracted Reuben to it was the bright coloured representation of animals on the jigsaw puzzle. Of course, the next thing I knew, he started biting the wooden pieces. I had to help him and show him how to play with the puzzle. Even though most of the time I was doing it but he was watching me fit the pieces together, I could tell that his brain was simulated as he made a few attempts to snatch it away from me to to fit up the puzzle by himself.
Basically, there are a couple of activity books that comes with it and each activity books is segregated in terms of the difficulty level.
An example of the activity is as below. You will need to start off by placing the jigsaw puzzle pieces accordingly to the exercise book picture and then figure out how to fit the rest of the jigsaw puzzle pieces to fill up the board. Even adults like me took quite a while to piece everything together
Tada! The finished puzzle after 10 minutes.
There are total about 100 over various combination puzzles which your child can try out. It never gets boring! It is definitely worth to invest in this toy.
